Q2 2026 Events Recap: Strengthening Global Partnerships and Discovering New Growth Opportunities

Q2 2026 Events Recap: Strengthening Global Partnerships and Discovering New Growth Opportunities

Throughout Q2 2026, our team participated in a series of leading international conferences across Europe and Asia, engaging with advertisers, publishers, game studios, technology partners, and platform representatives. Each event provided valuable opportunities to strengthen existing relationships, establish new partnerships, and gain first-hand insights into the trends shaping the future of performance marketing, mobile growth, gaming, AI, and digital advertising.

From discussions around AI-driven products and compliance to emerging traffic sources, investment trends, and changing advertiser expectations, these events reinforced one key message: sustainable growth increasingly depends on diversification, operational excellence, and strategic partnerships.

Below is a detailed recap of each event and the key takeaways that will help shape Point2Web’s strategy moving forward.

Mobile Executive Summit (Gamesforum)

The inaugural Mobile Executive Summit by Gamesforum brought together leading professionals from Vietnam’s rapidly expanding mobile gaming ecosystem. Representing Point2Web, Sunny Phan and Maxon Plugovsky participated in two days of networking, business development, and market research.

One of the strongest themes throughout the event was investment in Vietnamese mobile game studios. Investors demonstrated significant interest in the region’s hybrid-casual success stories while simultaneously highlighting the structural challenges that many local studios still face. Discussions frequently centered around corporate governance, investment readiness, international company structures, and realistic company valuations.

Interestingly, despite growing venture capital interest, many Vietnamese studios continue to prioritize organic growth over external funding. Numerous successful bootstrapped companies expressed confidence in sustainable expansion without sacrificing ownership or operational independence.

Beyond investment discussions, networking proved to be the conference’s greatest strength. The highly curated audience enabled productive conversations with game developers actively exploring new user acquisition channels beyond traditional platforms. Interest in alternative advertising ecosystems, including NewsBreak, Snapchat, and BIGO Ads, was particularly noticeable as studios looked for scalable and diversified acquisition strategies.

For Point2Web, the summit confirmed that Southeast Asia continues to mature rapidly, creating strong opportunities for agencies capable of providing both platform expertise and strategic guidance.

Google x Affiliate World Meetup

Unlike the large-scale Affiliate World conferences, the Google x Affiliate World Meetup offered a smaller, invitation-only environment focused on strategic collaboration and advanced platform knowledge.

Hosted at Google’s Hamburg office, the event featured deep technical sessions covering Google Ads optimization, measurement methodologies, compliance and policy updates, and vertical-specific strategies across Telehealth, Home Improvement, and Nutra.

One of the most valuable outcomes for Point2Web was direct collaboration with Google’s Compliance & Policy team. During these discussions, an approved framework was established for running campaigns in two highly regulated verticals:

  • Nutra (GLP-1)
  • AI Dating

This significantly reduces compliance risks while providing clients with a clearer and more predictable path to launching campaigns that align with Google’s advertising policies.

Beyond the educational sessions, the event enabled productive meetings with Google account consultants and strategic partners, laying the groundwork for future collaboration and continued development of compliant advertising solutions.

The meetup demonstrated that success on major platforms increasingly depends not only on campaign optimization but also on proactive compliance management and close collaboration with platform representatives.

DOU Conference

Although the DOU Conference was not primarily focused on marketing, it provided valuable exposure to the broader technology ecosystem.

Rather than attending marketing-focused sessions, the Point2Web team used the opportunity to reconnect with numerous existing clients and partners, including representatives from leading Ukrainian technology and product companies.

The conference itself revolved almost entirely around artificial intelligence and its growing impact across every stage of business operations, from recruitment and internal workflows to product development and large-scale business transformation.

A recurring discussion throughout the event centered on one fundamental question: “Is AI simply another technology hype cycle, or does it represent the future of business”?

Interestingly, no universal consensus emerged. Different companies shared different perspectives depending on their industries and current AI adoption levels.

While marketing-specific insights were limited, the event highlighted just how deeply AI conversations have expanded beyond technology companies and into virtually every business function.

PAGC Conference

The PAGC Conference served as one of the largest international gatherings focused on global business expansion and digital growth.

With more than 40,000 attendees, over 10,000 participating enterprises, and millions of online viewers, the event showcased emerging opportunities across AI, gaming, digital entertainment, and smart hardware.

For Point2Web, the primary objective was understanding new business trends within the Chinese ecosystem while exploring opportunities with emerging DSP platforms and potential technology partners.

One particularly interesting topic was the explosive growth of AI-generated short dramas and AI comics.

Market data presented during the conference demonstrated:

  • Over 150 million active overseas users
  • High willingness among users to pay for AI-assisted content
  • Romance is dominating as the leading content genre
  • Strong monetization potential across multiple storytelling formats

The event also reinforced the growing role of AI-powered entertainment as a scalable advertising category capable of reaching international audiences.

Overall, PAGC highlighted the rapid evolution of AI content ecosystems while opening new conversations around cross-border partnerships and future advertising opportunities.

i-Con Island Conference

The i-Con Island Conference delivered one of the strongest strategic experiences of the quarter, bringing together advertisers, affiliates, dating companies, technology providers, and performance marketing leaders from around the world.

For Point2Web, this was the team’s first time attending the conference, resulting in numerous productive meetings with both long-term clients and new industry partners.

Several major themes consistently emerged throughout the event.

AI Has Become an Operational Standard

Artificial intelligence was no longer presented as a future trend. Instead, nearly every company demonstrated practical AI applications across creative production, funnel optimization, personalization, segmentation, fraud detection, customer support, and workflow automation.

The dedicated AI Growth Meetup for AI companion platforms further demonstrated how deeply AI is becoming integrated into the dating ecosystem.

Traffic Quality Matters More Than Volume

Discussions increasingly shifted away from simple CPA optimization toward traffic quality, fraud prevention, trust, and long-term scalability.

Advertisers are becoming more selective about where traffic originates and how performance is measured beyond immediate acquisition metrics.

Compliance Is Becoming a Competitive Advantage

In high-risk verticals such as dating, advertisers emphasized compliant funnels, stable advertising accounts, transparent messaging, and sustainable scaling strategies over aggressive short-term growth tactics.

Rather than chasing volume at any cost, companies are investing in infrastructure that minimizes platform risk.

YouTube Emerges as a High-Intent Opportunity

One notable Google session explored YouTube and the Google Video Network as emerging acquisition channels for dating advertisers facing increasingly competitive Search auctions.

This creates additional opportunities for diversification across mobile apps, lead generation, and other highly competitive verticals.

Performance Marketing Is Becoming More Professional

Perhaps the most important takeaway was the industry’s evolving expectations toward agencies and partners.

Advertisers are no longer looking for simple access to traffic sources.

Instead, they increasingly value partners capable of delivering:

  • compliance expertise;
  • platform-specific knowledge;
  • tracking infrastructure;
  • traffic quality analysis;
  • creative strategy;
  • long-term scaling support.

This aligns directly with Point2Web’s positioning as a strategic growth partner rather than simply a media buying provider.

The conference reinforced that future success will depend on combining technical expertise with sustainable growth strategies across multiple advertising ecosystems.

Conclusion

Across every conference attended during Q2 2026, several clear industry trends consistently emerged.

Artificial intelligence has transitioned from an emerging technology to a core business capability. Advertisers are prioritizing compliance and traffic quality alongside traditional performance metrics. Diversification beyond Meta and Google continues to accelerate, with growing interest in platforms such as NewsBreak, Snapchat, BIGO Ads, and other alternative ecosystems. Finally, businesses increasingly seek strategic partners capable of delivering long-term expertise rather than simply providing media buying services.

These events not only strengthened Point2Web’s global network but also reinforced our commitment to helping advertisers scale through diversified traffic sources, platform expertise, compliance-first strategies, and sustainable performance marketing.
